2008 High Point
These rules are for the 2007 IMHOA Highpoint program.
1. The horse must be owned by an IMHOA member in good standing. The horse must also be shown by an IMHOA member in good standing (does not have to be the same person).
2. You must fill out form A for each horse you are entering in the 2007 highpoint program.
3. You must send in $3.00 per class for each horse for the class you want to participate in. Checks made payable to IMHOA.
4. The deadline to nominate is May 1, 2008.
5. It is up to the exhibitor to send in the results of three (3) ASPC/AMHR sanctioned shows from the state of Illinois with the placing of your nominated horses and the number shown in each class to high point chairperson by October 1, 2008. You may pick a show with two judges or a show with four judges it does not matter but only a total of three shows will count. If you would like send in your show results after each show and the highpoint chair will only count your best three shows.
6. Points will be tallied as followed:
1 of 1 - 1 point
1 of 2 - 2 points, 2 of 2 - 1 point
1 of 3 - 3 points, 2 of 3 - 2 points, 3 of 3 1 point
1 0f 4 - 4 points, 2 of 4 - 3 points, 3 0f 4 - 2 points, 4 of 4- 1 point.
And so forth.
7. Sponsorships for highpoint are also available. If a person chooses to be a sponsor the fee is $25 per class and they will have their name announced at the club show, posted at the show, and listed on the website. This is advertisement for your farm or stable.
8. The awards will be presented at the IMHOA Fall General Membership meeting on November 01, 2008.
